Using DESSA’s Asterix HD Roof, this scaffold was designed to be freestanding with considerable ballast provided. The roof was erected from the safety of a stepped gable end scaffold. Due to the span and forces acting on the roof, there was a requirement for a double beam line every 2.57m. A heavy duty beam support assembly was supplied to ensure the loads at the support location were transferred through the bolted joint connection to the castors.
